MTC20 Static Transport Trolley

The MTC20 is a stainless steel static transport trolley designed for the hygienic and dignified movement of deceased individuals within mortuaries, hospitals, and forensic pathology facilities. Compliant with IUSS standards for South African public health infrastructure, it accommodates Minus40 body trays with a 520–540mm centre pitch, including the supplied 550mm medical body tray and optional obese variants.

Four 125mm non-marking castors — two swivel with locking brakes at the handle end and two fixed — provide controlled manoeuvrability across facility environments. A secure body tray locking mechanism prevents tray movement during transit, and protective bumpers at the frame perimeter reduce the risk of wall and door frame damage during corridor and doorway navigation. The extended-length design accommodates a canvas cover and frame for discrete transport through clinical and public areas.

An end handle with integrated tray retaining mechanism supports safe loading and unloading with a 250kg rated capacity for both standard and obese tray configurations. The MTC20 is supplied as standard with a laminated PVC cover and a Minus40 550mm medical body tray. Backed by Minus40’s service support.
