MTC20 Static Transport Trolley

The Minus40 MTC20 is a static body transport trolley designed for durable, hygienic duty in hospital mortuary environments. Constructed in 304 stainless steel and built to IUSS standards, it supports routine transport requirements with corrosion resistance and easy-clean surfaces.

The trolley is designed with extra length to accommodate the laminated PVC canvas cover used to move bodies discreetly within and between facilities. It accommodates standard 550mm and obese 650mm body trays via a secure tray-locking mechanism.

Four 125mm non-marking castors support controlled movement: two swivel castors with locking brakes at the handle end and two fixed castors at the front. Protective bumpers are fitted at each end to reduce impact risk during manoeuvring.

The MTC20 comes standard with a Minus40 Medical 550mm body tray and a laminated PVC cover. Obese 650mm and forensic trays are available separately.

Safety

The MTC20 supports safer handling through a secure tray-locking mechanism to reduce movement during transport. Locking brakes on the swivel castors support controlled stopping and positioning. Non-marking wheels and protective bumpers reduce the risk of damage to floors, walls, and equipment during manoeuvring.
