The D60SSH is a 60-litre portable fridge/freezer engineered for reliable transport refrigeration throughout Africa. Built with a rugged hard-body cabinet and stainless steel interior and exterior, it is designed to handle harsh road conditions while remaining easy to clean and maintain.
A digital temperature controller allows the unit to be set to either fridge or freezer mode, covering a 10°C to −20°C operating range for flexible cold storage. To support mobile use without complicated power hardware, the D60SSH runs directly from a vehicle’s 12V or 24V DC supply and can also be plugged into 110/220V AC mains power — no external inverter required.
Features such as a lockable lid, low-voltage cut-out, efficient power consumption, and the ability to retain cold when switched off make it well-suited to off-road, fieldwork, and trailer applications. Minus40’s medical units are supported by the Minus40 service warranty, and an optional annual service agreement can be specified.
