The VB12 Vaccine Cooler Box is a 12-litre, short-range vaccine transport solution designed to maintain cold-chain integrity in demanding environments. Developed in line with World Health Organization (WHO) cold-chain guidelines, the VB12 supports safe and reliable vaccine distribution across clinics, outreach programmes, and mobile immunisation campaigns.
Purpose-built for African operating conditions, the VB12 combines a robust outer shell with thick, CFC-free high-density polyurethane insulation to deliver extended cold life in high ambient temperatures. When loaded with the supplied WHO-compliant Type 3 ice packs, the cooler box maintains stable internal temperatures for up to 83 hours at ambient temperatures of up to 43°C, without openings. Specially designed insulation barriers position the ice packs to prevent direct contact with vaccines, eliminating the risk of accidental freezing.
Lightweight, durable, and easy to carry, the VB12 is designed for daily use by healthcare workers across all levels of the vaccination cold chain. Its stackable design, lockable lid, and rugged construction make it suitable for transport by vehicle or on foot, while its locally manufactured build ensures reliability, serviceability, and long-term support. The VB12 is supplied with a three-year warranty against manufacturing defects, providing confidence in long-term performance.
